David's papers reflect her involvement in education, women's issues, local issues, and county politics. Topics include human resources planning, annexation, revenue sharing, the county police, the Buck Mountain Resevoir, the Citizens Committee for City-County Cooperation, the American Council on Education's Commission on the Education of Women, the McIntire Public Library, the Northwestern Virginia Health Systems Agency, the University of Virginia self study and twenty year study, and the Virginia Commission on the Status of Women. Papers from her tenure on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors are chiefly concerned with her 1975 election campaign, the County's comprehensive plan and a zoning ordinance.
